Requirements & Dependencies

ROXAS is not stand-alone, but depends on the commercial software Image-Pro Plus v6.1-7 (Media Cybernetics). There is currently no alternative to this dependency.

Image file format	- JPG - JPEG2000 (JP2) - TIFF - BMP - PICT - Color and grey scale images supported
Image file size	Max. 32,768 pixels in any dimension
Software	- Image-Pro Plus (Media Cybernetics) v6.1-v7 (not 6.0!) - MS Excel XP through 2015
Operating system	- Windows XP / Vista / 7 - Windows 10, however, you might have to run Image-Pro Plus in the compatibility mode! - Windows 8 / 8.1: proper functioning is not guaranteed!
Hardware	- ≥4 GB RAM, ≥1.5 GHz for images <25 Megapixels (e.g. 5000 × 5000 pixels) - ≥8 GB RAM, ≥2 GHz, powerful graphics card for images >25 Megapixels - Monitor size: 800 × 1200 or larger (the larger, the better!) - Optional: graphic tablet for manual editing (instead of mouse)

There are likely also some smaller undiscovered bugs that may show in specific situations. You may help to improve ROXAS by reporting them to me (provide screenshot of the error message together with all files associated with erroneous analysis).
