Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in groups, diagonal arranged, simple perforations, vessel diameter 40-70µm, with vestured intervessel pits, round intervessel-pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric, teminal and apotracheal in tangential aggregates, ray width 5-9 cells, heterocellular with a few rows of square cells,
Tangential arranged groups of sclerenchyma cells, with prismatic crystals.
