Distinct annual rings, semi-ring porous, vessels in small groups, vessel diameter 30 – 50 mm vessel frequency 200-300 mm2, simple perforations, fibers with small pits, paratracheal vasicentric ray width 2-3-5 cells, rays heterocellular with a few prostrate and many upright cells, with a few crystal druses.

With small groups of sieve tubes distinct ray dilatations, irregular groups of sclereids in radial patterns, with crystal druses.
