Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary and in groups, simple perforations, vessel diameter in earlywood 30 - 40µm, fibers distinctly bordered, apotracheal and marginal parenchyma, ray width 1-3 cells, all ray cells upright.

Phloem

With sieve cell groups. Old sieve cells not collapsed, distinct ray dilatations, groups of sclereids in cortex. Crystals absent.
