Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessel solitary and in short radial multiples, simple perforation, vessel diameter 80-120µm, scalariform intervessel pits, fibers thin-walled, apotracheal parenchyma, round and scalariform vessel-ray pits, homocellular 2-4 serate rays with prostrate cells. Crystal druses in rays.

Phloem with long radial strips of sclereids, many crastal druses and also crystal sand. Without lactifers.
