Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels diagonal and dendritic patterns, simple perforations, vessel diameter 40 – 50µm, with fibers tick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric and terminal and apotracheal, ray width 1-3 (-6) cells, heterocellular with a few square cells, some individuals with prismatic crystals.
