Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels solitary, simple perforations, vessel diameter 50-100µm, with round intervessel pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, parenchyma vasicentric, ray with two distinct sizes: 1-2 cells and 5-10 cells in width, homocellular with prostrate cells, prismatic crystals.
