Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels in groups, simple perforations, vessel diameter 40-60µm, with round intervessel pits, vestured pits, thick-walled fibers, parenchyma vasicentric, ray 2-4 cells in width, heterocellular with 3 to 5 upright cells, prismatic crystals.
