Distinct and indistinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels solitary, simple perforation, vessel diameter 15-30 µm, scalariform intervessel pits, fibers absent, parenchyma pervasive, vascular bundles remaining, rays absent and multi-seriate, homocellular with square and upright cells. Vascular bundles remaining.

Uniform phloem. A few crystal druses in the cortex. Multilayered periderm with regular arranged cells.
