Xylem

Distinct rings, diffuse- to semi-ring porous, vessels mostly in groups and solitary, simple perforation, vessel diameter 40-80µm, with helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, with tension wood, parenchyma apotracheal, rays uni seriate and 4-8-seriate, heterocellular with many prostrate and a few upright cells.

Phloem

With phloem and a few larger parenchyma cells, sclerenchyma cells in irregular radial rows, with crystal druses, tissue radially splitted, multilayered periderm with regular arranged cells, mostly compressed.
