Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels mostly in radial rows and groups, simple perforation, vessel diameter 50-80µm, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, , parenchyma difficult to recognize, rays 1-3-seriate, homocellular with prostrate cells, with prismatic crystals in ray cells
