Distinct rings, ring-to semi-ring to ring-porous, vessels solitary, mostly solitary, simple perforation, earlywood vessel diameter 90-140µm, with helical thickenings, fibers with large pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma apotracheal, rays unseriate and 5-10 seriate, heterocellular with many prostrate and a few upright cells.
