Distinct rings, diffuse to semi-ring-porous, vessels solitary, simple perforation, intervessel pitting round, alternating, vessel diameter 40-70 µm, fibers thick-walled, with septate fibers, parenchyma apotracheal rays uniseriate and multiseriate, heterocellular with many procumbent and a few upright cells without crystals.

Phloem

Alternating layers of sieve-tubes and parenchyma cells, sieve tubes compressed, with ray dilatations, thick belt of sclereides between rays, with many prismatic crystals, large zone of regular arranged cork cells.
