Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels in short radial multipels, simple perforation, vessel diameter 40-70µm, large vessel-ray pits, fibers with small pits, fibers thin-to thick-walled, intraannual parenchyma not to recognize and one row of marginal parenchyma, rays uniseriate, heterocellular with prostrate and a few rows of upright marginal cells.

With tangential layers of sieve-tubes and parenchyma cells, tangential bands of sclerenchyma cells, with prismatic crystals with dilatations.
