Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in irregular radial and dendritic groups, vessel diameter 20–50mµ, simple perforations, with helical thickenings, fibers with small pits, fibers thick or thin to thick-walled, parenchyma not to recognize or paratracheal round the vessel groups, rays 3-8 seriate, homogeneous with prostrate cells or heterogeneous with one row of upright cells.
