Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels in dendritic groups, vessel diameter 30 – 50mµ, simple perforations, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with small pits, fibers thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal, rays 3-5 seriate, heterogeneous with many square and prostrate and a few rows of upright cells.
