Distinct growth zones, semi-ring-porous, vessels mainly in dendritic groups, vessel diameter 30–40mµ, simple perforations, thin helical thickenings, fibers with small pits, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma in uniseriate terminal layers, rays 2-3 seriate, homogeneous with prostrate cells with many prismatic crystals in rays.
