Distinct rings, diffuse to semi-ring-porous, vessels in irregular diagonal groups, vessel diameter 20 – 50mµ, simple perforations, with thin helical thickenings, fibers with small pits, fibers thin-walled, parenchyma not to recognize, rays 1-2 (3) seriate, heterogeneous with a few prostrate and many rows of upright cells.
