Distinct rings, semi-ring-porous, vessels 50 -80 µm in diameter, vessels in short radial multiples or in small groups, arranged in intraanual tangential rows, simple perforations, intervessel pits partially scalariform, with thin-walled tylosis, fibers thin to thick-walled, parenchyma paratracheal and marginal, ray width 2-5 cells with sheet cells, homocellular with upright cells.

Phloem

With groups of sieve-tubes and a few dilatations, solitary scereids, with many crystal druses in rays and axial parenchyma cells. .
