Xylem

Distinct and indistinct rings, diffuse porous, 25-40 µm in diameter, vessels solitary, simple perforations, with thin helical thickenings, fibers thin-to thick-walled with large pits, parenchyma apotracheal diffuse in aggregates, rays 1-3 cells in width, heterocellular with prostrate cells in the center and 3-6 marginal upright cells.
