Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary vessel diameter 30-50µm vessel frequency 200- mm2, simple perforations, fibers thick-walled, with large pits, parenchyma apotracheal and scanty paratracheal, rays: 1-3 seriate, heterocellular with a few prostrate and many square or upright cells.
