Distinct rings, diffuse-porous, vessels solitary, simple scalariform, intervessel pits round, vessel diameter 15-30 µm, vessel frequency 200 - 400 mm2, fibers with large pits, fibers thin- to thick-walled, parenchyma not to recognize, rays uniseriate and with a few 3-4 seriate rays, uniseriate rays are homocellular with upright cells. Heterocelluar rays with a prostrate and a few upright cells.
