Xylem

Root collar: Rings distinct, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary, simple perforations, thin-walled fibers, septate fibers present, parenchyma not to recognize, rays absent. Small groups of collapsed sieve cells at the beginning of the secondary xylem. Shoot: The xylem surrounds a big pith and outside of the cambium is a tangential row of latex canals. Grwoth rings are absent.
