Xylem

Indistinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels in radial multiples, simple perforations, thin-walled fibers, parenchyma apotracheal, heterogeneous uni- and biseriate rays with 3-5 upright cells. Few isodiametric crystals in axial parenchyma. Sieve cell groups around the pith (= Medullary phloem).
