Indistinct rings, separated vascular bundles (siphonostele) vessels in radial multiples, scalariform inter-vessel pits scalariform perforations, inside of the bundles groups of thick-walled fibers, pervasive parenchyma, rayless.

Phloem

Cortex with numerous vertically elongated cavities. With cortical vascular bundles. The pith show a similar structure as the cortex.
