Only one ring solitary vessels solitary or in groups, vessels only in the first part of the ring, vessels absent in the second part = intra-annual tangential bands of fibers, compact fibre ring, pervasive parenchyma, crystals absent. Similar to Sedum alpestre and S. atratum.
