Distinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels in radial rows, vessel diameter 20 ¿ 30µm, vessel frequency 200-500 mm2, simple perforations, siphonostele with more or less isolated vascular bundles, groups of thick-walled fibers, pervasive and paratracheal parenchyma, thin walled marginal parenchyma, ray width 3-5 cells, rays with exclusively square and upright ray cells, very thin walled cell walls, with small crystal druses
