Indistinct rings, vessels solitary vessel diameter 30 ¿ 50 mµ, simple perforation, minutely bordered fibers thin to thick-walled, paratracheal parenchyma, with interxylary phloem. The zones of vascular bundles form ring like bands with some irregularities. Rays mostly absent, few rays with width 2-5 cells, ray cells thin walled and unlignified, with bundles of rhaphides in idioblasts, mainly in the parenchymatic zones between the vascular bundles..
