Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in short radial multiples, vessel diameter 30-50 mµ, simple perforations, intervascular pits round, fibers thin to thick-walled, paratracheal parenchyma, ray width 3-8 cells, included phloem concentric with single vascular bundles and continuous, conjunctive tissue unlignified and thin-walled, with crystal sand.
