Indistinct rings, vessels solitary and in small groups, vessel diameter 30-50 mµ, simple perforations, intervascular pits scalariform and partially round, fibers missing, pervasive parenchyma, ray width 5->10 cells, included phloem concentric with single vascular bundles and, conjunctive tissue unlignified and thin-walled, with few crystal druses and few crystal sand.
