Only one ring, in long radial multiples, vessel diameter 30-50 µm, simple perforations, round and scalariform inter-vessel pits, fibers thin to thick-walled, scanty paratracheal parenchyma, ray width 4-8cells with square and upright cells, often confluent with axial tissue, crystal druses in ray cells.
