Distinct rings, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary and in groups, simple perforations, fine spiral thickenings, earlywood vessel diameter 40 - 80µm, fibers thin to thick-walled, few fiber tracheids, parenchyma absent or not to recognize, ray width 4-10 cell, all ray cells prostrate, few prismatic crystals in rays.

Tangential layers of collapsed sieve cells, irregular groups of sclerenchymatic groups, annual? tangential cracks, distinct ray dilatations, groups of sclereids in cortex, uniform cortex. Crystals absent.
