Indistinct rings, diffuse porous, vessels in groups, simple perforations, intervessel pits round, with gum deposits, fibers thin to thick-walled, paratracheal parenchyma, ray width 6->10 cells, homocellular with procumbent cells. Storied parenchyma and fibers, With prismatic crystals.

Phloem

Sieve cells between parenchyma cells. They are compressed in older rings. Half-moon-like groups of sclerenchyma, arranged in tangential direction in the phloem. Rays sclerotisised with annual? gaps. Ray bended in the cortex. With prismatic crystals.
