Xylem

Distinct rings remaining vascular bundles, semi-ring porous, vessels solitary and in groups, earlywood vessel diameter 90-150µm, fibers with distinct big (3 µm)round, bordered pits, fibers storied, simple perforations, locally with spiral thickenings, round intervascular pits, parenchyma paratracheal, apotracheal and marginal, vascular bundles rayless, very large rays between the bundles.

Phloem

Bands sieve elements alternating with parenchyma cells, tangentially arranged in a thin walled parenchymatic tissue. Small groups of sclerenchyma. Many phellem bands.
