Indistinct rings, fast grown plants with remaining vascular bundles, diffuse porous, vessels solitary with thick walls, vessel diameter <20-30 µm, simple perforations, fibers with big round bordered pits, round to slit like intervascular pits, parenchyma apotracheal, paratracheal and marginal, Rays often absent, few large rays. Large rays confluent to the fiber tissue.

Phloem

Phloem simple structured, few sclereids at the external ends of the phloem groups. Cortex with big, thin walled parenchyma cells.
