Distinct rings, ring porous, vessels solitary, vessel diameter 150-200mµ, simple perforation at the axial ends, round, partially with scalariform intervessel pitting, with few tylosis, fibers thin to thick-walled, fibers with bordered pits with slit-like apertures, parenchyma apotracheal and partially mariginal, vascular bundle form remaining but with secondary rays, rays very large, locally with sheet cells, ray cells unlignified with square cells. With crystal druses.

Phloem

Phloem simple structured. Tangential layers of collapsed cells, distinct ray dilations. Cortex with fragments of an earlier sclerenchymatic belt. Fiber tracheids in the cortex. Thick phellem.
