Distinct rings, diffuse porous to slightly semi-ring porous, vessels in radial rows of 2-6 and solitary, earlywood vessel diameter 40 -50mµ, fibers with small slightly bordered pits with slit-like apertures (libiriform fibers), vessel frequency 80-200 mm2, intervessel pits scalariform, simple perforations, parenchyma marginal, ray width 2-3 cells, rays homogeneus, cells procumbent and square, vessel ray pits oval in horizontal rows.
