Distinct rings, diffuse to slightly semi-ring porous, vessels rarely solitary, often in short radial groups, vessel diameter 60 ¿ 90 µm, vessels with scalariform perforations with 6-12 bars, with small intervessel pits in opposite position, fibers with distinctly bordered pits with vertical slit-like apertures, vessel frequency 100-150 mm2, parenchyma diffuse in aggregates, rays uniseriate and 3-5 seriate with sheet cells, heterocellular with 3-5 upright cells.
