WSL runs nationwide services, such as Avalanche Warning for the Swiss Alps, the Competence Centre of Forest Protection, or the National Data Centre for Fungi and Lichen.

Apart from these, WSL offers a wide range of products that are based on the results of our research. There are books and CDs, software packages and information leaflets where scientific insights have been translated into practical information for the professionals in the field and are presented in an instructive way.
