General conservation

Conservation of fungi in Switzerland focuses mainly on picking restriction. In several cantons picking restrictions (days with a complete picking prohibition, limitation in quantities of gathered fungi) are operative.

Several reserves for fungi exist in Graubünden (e.g. Bonaduz).

Specific conservation

Species conservation focuses on each single species and especially on threatened species. With appropriate knowledge of the ecology and biology and precise knowledge of the thread of a species in question, precise measurements for the conservation can be formulated and implemented.
