Forest Snow and Landscape ResearchJournal is suspendedAims and ScopeForest Snow and Landscape Research is a journal of the Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL. There are two to three issues per year. Scientists from all countries are invited to publish original work and review articles on: Global environmental change and ecological risk analysis, Environmental history, conservation and protection, Environmental monitoring, Forest functions, resources and management, Forest ecology, Biodiversity and wildlife, Genetics, Movements of water, earth and rock, Fundamental aspects of snow and avalanches, Natural hazards and risk management, Landscape dynamics and management and Socio-economic aspects of land use. The main focus of the journal is on
original research but reviews of recent developments are also
considered. We welcome guest editors for special issues devoted to
specific themes either in the form of collected articles or as single
extensive contributions. Suggestions for topics should be sent to the
Editorial Board. Another aim is to publish collection of single
articles devoted to diversed topics. Single articles should be
submitted directly to the Managing Editor. All manuscripts submitted to
this journal are peer reviewed. The journal has no page charges. The
guest editors of special issues receive 10 free copies. The
