Conference

The conference includes symposia with invited keynote lectures, contributed presentations, and poster sessions.

Official language of the conference is English. Simultaneous translation English-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-English will be offered during the opening session and for key note lectures on the first day of the conference only.

Field trip

The field trip will lead to outstanding Ukrainian objects of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage «Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and the Ancient Beech Forests of Germany».

Satellite workshop

A satellite workshop will be organized to promote a research platform as well as an international and interdisciplinary program on primeval beech forest research (limited participation; please contact primevalbeech2013@wsl.ch).
