Research Group Snow Physics

The SLF 'Snow Physics' team exists for research into the structure of snow and its physical properties. Research areas range from research into snow metamorphosis, to the mechanical properties of various types of snow or the development of methods and equipment for investigations into structure of the snow cover. Research is carried out on the natural snow cover, whether in cold laboratories or in the field.
