The organizers are looking forward to seeing you at the fieldweek very soon. Below is some information to help you make plans for arriving in San Vito di Cadore.

The cost of a round-trip ticket from Venice/Mestre or Padua should be about 25 Euro. A sample itinerary is below. Our accommodation place is the “Hotel Dolomiti” in Cortina 10 minutes walk from the lab:

We hope that everyone will be able to make it to San Vito di Cadore by Sunday noon. There might be a possibility  to stay in the Hotel Dolomiti Sunday night the 8th for those who arrive earlier. If your schedule does not allow you to arrive by Sunday afternoon or for any other concerns, please send Kerstin Treydte an e-mail (kerstin.treydte@wsl.ch).

Should you have troubles or delays while traveling to San Vito, try to reach us by phone. Phone numbers will be provided just before the event starts.

What to bring:

• Field clothes suitable for sun and snow (and anything and everything in between).
• You are encouraged to bring a poster highlighting your research and/or a short talk (e.g., Powerpoint on a CD or memory stick, but not longer than 10 minutes).

More lectures will be given during the evenings. This will also be the time to formally and informally network and learn about each other’s research.
