Research interests

I am particularly interested in ecology of mires (bogs and fens) as well as in vegetation dynamics and plant succession. Another field of my research is in bryology, especially the genus Sphagnum.

Research at WSL

I work in the research team Ecosystem Dynamics on a monitoring program of the Swiss biotopes of national importance, in collaboration with the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).
Another project of mine is the vegetation succession following a bog burst in a Swiss mire (La Vraconnaz, Jura Mountains).
