Research interests

I am interested in "global change ecology", "treeline ecology", and "disturbance ecology". My current research focuses on the impacts of global change at species level (plant ecophysiology) and community/ecosystem level (vegetation and ecosystem change, ecological restoration).

Current research projects

• 1) Eco-change index
• 2) Effects of simulated defoliation on physiology and growth of Abies alba trees
• 3) Effects of multiple global changes on the relationships between native and non-native plant species at the community-level
• 4) Physiological mechanism of alpine treeline formation (NSF of China, Project No. 30540039, to MH Li)
• 5) Leaf characteristics and tree physiology of Cunninghamia lanceolata and Pinus massoniana across environmental gradients.
