comparison and evaluation of climate change adaptation policy in the Alpine space, science-practice and science-policy interactions and ways to improve the interaction, public participation research, multi-scale aspects of environmental projects and policy making, integration of ecosystem-service approaches with public participation

Scientific Interests

public participation in policy making and planning, integrating decision support (modeling) and participatory planning, (economic) valuation of biodiversity and ecosystem services, environmental governance, model of humans in economics and psychology
