Liability

The WSL does not accept any liability for damage or loss arising from improper use of information on the website www.wsl.ch. This also applies to incomplete or misleading links to WSL information installed by operators of other websites.

Links to other websites from www.wsl.ch

For information purposes, links can be provided from www.wsl.ch to other operators' websites. Despite the careful control of content that takes place at the time the link is installed, the WSL does not accept any liability for the content of such third-party websites. Responsibility for the content of sites to which links are provided rests exclusively with the site operators.

Data protection

Pursuant to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and data protection law, every person is entitled to protection of privacy and against the misuse of personal data. The WSL complies with these regulations.

No personal data are stored when users access our websites. Our web servers merely record impersonal user data that are processed to illuminate trends in the interests of improving the offering (log files).

Making contact voluntarily represents an exception. If you send an inquiry by e-mail, for example, your e-mail address is saved in a separate list that is not in any way connected with the anonymous log files. Personal data are treated in strict confidence and neither sold nor disclosed to third parties.
