    Harp-trap / "Tuttle"-trap

    We use a harp trap of own design in the field, to trap bats in the context of our bat-project. The trap works perfect in confined situations, roost exits on roofs, caves, etc. In open space nets should be preferred.

    The trap is completely collapsible to the size of a pair of skis and can be transported conveniently in a ski-bag. The present model has an extension of 145x145 cm. Setting up the trap takes approximately 5-10 minutes. It can be accomplished alone, but two more helping hands don't hurt...

    The trap was custom designed by our inhouse mechanics specialist. We will sell the trap to interested scientists and bat-protection persons, who can prove their legitimacy to trap and handle the protected bats.

    Total cost for material and works of the trap will amount to CHF 2200.-, transport and insurance included.
