WSL researcher Marc Hanewinkel presents findings in Brussels |
The EU- FP7 project MOTIVE (MOdels for adapTIVE forest management) is a large scale integrated project with a funding volume of 7 million Euro. WSL-scientist Marc Hanewinkel coordinated it from 2009 to 2013, with major contributions from Niklaus Zimmermann, also from WSL.
On 25 April Marc Hanewinkel and his fellow project members presented the main results of the project the seminar 'Climate Change in European Forests: How to Adapt'. The seminar was organised by the ThinkForest forum under the lead of the European Forest Institute (EFI) in collaboration with the European Parliament Intergroup on " Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development".
